All product descriptions on our website include a full ingredients list. Moreover, most Natio products have all ingredients printed on the back of the packaging. A few colour makeup products are too small to display a full ingredients list. For these, simply refer to the product's entry on our website or find a complete listing in our ingredients leaflet or attached to the Natio display stand at your nearest Natio retailer.
Natio firmly opposes the testing of products on animals, we do not conduct or condone animal testing.
Our women’s and men’s skin care, body care and fragrance ranges are mostly free of animal by-products, however some products may contain honey or beeswax. Natio’s makeup range is also largely free from animal by-products, however some products may contain lanolin, or beeswax. You will also be pleased to know that Natio’s makeup brushes and mascara wands are made with synthetic fibers.
Where it may be possible to derive an ingredient from either plant or animal sources, for instance lecithin, tristearin, squalene or glycerin we source from plant sources.
To check whether a product is vegan friendly, we recommend you refer to the ingredient listing on our website. Simply look up the product and click the “Ingredients” tab. Alternatively, refer to the ingredients list on product packaging.
Natio firmly opposes the testing of products on animals and does not conduct or condone animal testing, or ask anyone to conduct animal testing on our behalf. We actively support and have been accredited since 1996 by 'Choose Cruelty Free', an Australian organisation screening beauty care companies and helping consumers recognise genuine cruelty-free brands.
Natio provides testers for many of our products at point of sale, so please visit your nearest Natio retailer to trial products from the Natio range. Natio often produces packs with miniature trial size products. These products are either offered as gifts with purchase or are very reasonably priced, which makes them perfect for trial. The pure plant extracts and essential oils at the core of Natio’s formulations make them very gentle and suitable across a wide range of skin types. If you require help finding the most suitable products for your skin, you are welcome to ask one of Natio's qualified Consultants in-store. As everyone's skin is different, you may wish to do a small test to see if the product feels comfortable on your skin. We also invite you to browse our skincare products online.
Natio's skincare is primarily plant based. We use natural ingredients wherever possible, however we firmly believe that the best and most skin-friendly results are achieved by combining the pure essences of nature with the tried and true ingredients of modern science.
If we tried to be totally natural this would compromise the performance and stability of our products. For quality performance and stability, we use the finest compounded stabilisers to ensure that our products remain pure until the very last drop.
Natio has already removed all pure Palm Kernel Oil from its formulations some time ago. Some of our products contain derivatives of Palm Oil and the issues related to deforestation have encouraged us to source Palm Oil derivatives only from suppliers that are members of the RSPO (Round Table On Sustainable Palm Oil). We are also reviewing the option of using GreenPalm certificates.
The low, almost no foam is one of the product's best features. The mild formula of the unique micro-fine foam leaves skin deeply cleansed, refreshed and glowing, while maintaining skin's natural moisture balance. The soap free cleanser should not be compared with high foaming supermarket cleansers, which can be harsh and dehydrating on the skin. To get the best results from your cleanser, squeeze an amount the size of a 5-cent coin onto a wet hand and "lather". Then apply to wet face (avoiding eye area) and massage with gentle circular movements. Gently rinse off. The best way to judge the merit of a cleanser is by the purity and soft, moist and comfortable feel of the skin after application. Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser is one of the top sellers in the Natio skincare range.
Natio Eye Contour Wrinkle Cream, Intensive Moisturising Night Cream and Natural Vitamin E Cream contain natural vitamin E derived from wheat germ oil. Similarly, some Natio lip products contain natural vitamin E (e.g. Tocopherol), which may be derived from wheat. We recommend that coeliacs avoid using these products, as there may be an increased risk of reaction. All product descriptions on our website include a full ingredients list, so you can quickly see which products are coeliac friendly. Alternatively refer to ingredients lists on product packaging and/or attached to the side of the Natio display stand at your local pharmacy or department store.
Beauty products are not required to have an expiry date printed on them. Since 2008, Natio has been printing a Period After Opening (POA) symbol on the back of all our products to optimise our service to consumers. The symbol indicates how many months Natio recommends a product should be used after opening. As a rule of thumb, Natio products have a lifespan in excess of three years when unopened and stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
The majority of Natio product packaging is recyclable, with the exception of the black colour cosmetics containers.
Natio has introduced the display of separate recycling symbols for each component of product packaging. This allows customers to easily identify the best way to recycle as much as possible of their empty packaging.
Natio is continuously striving to improve the sustainability of packaging and become even more environmentally friendly. For example, the tube packaging in the new Spirit and Spa ranges of products is made from at least 82% recycled plastic and sustainable materials.
No, Natio products are all free from nanoparticles.
It is important to use gentle skincare and cosmetics when you are pregnant. Despite the gentle nature of all Natio products, we always recommend you speak with a qualified health practitioner about which ingredients are safe to use during pregnancy.
Ingredients are listed on the product pages under the "Ingredients" tab. Additionally, Natio products have all ingredients printed on the back of their packaging. However, a few colour makeup products are too small for the ingredients list. The ingredient list for these can be found on the Natio display stand.
The entire Natio range is micro-bead free. Natio products use natural ingredients as the exfoliating grains in our scrubs, which are gentle and effective on the skin and also eco-friendly.

Online Shopping FAQs
To purchase products on the Natio website, simply select any desired item and quantity and click on “Add to Bag, or use the Quick View feature to add a single unit immediately to your Shopping Bag”. You can view and modify the contents of your Shopping Bag by hovering over the Shopping Bag icon on the main menu. To add more products to your Shopping Bag, simply continue shopping from the top menu. When you have completed shopping, hover over the shopping Bag icon then select View Bag to proceed to checkout. To update you on the status of your order, confirmation emails will be sent to you at each stage of your order: receipt, processing and dispatch.
Simply navigate products using the Skincare, Makeup, Body, Men and Home tabs in the menu. These tabs allow you to view products by Collection, Product Type and Concern.
The Shopping Bag stores items you wish to purchase while you complete your browsing, the same way you use a shopping cart in a retail store. There are a few actions you can complete while on the Shopping Bag page such as update quantity, remove items and proceed to checkout. To update the quantity of an item, simply type in the new quantity you wish to purchase and click “Update Shopping Bag”. To remove an item, simply click the “Remove” symbol to the right of the item. If you wish to continue shopping, simply click “Continue shopping” or locate additional items and add them to your Bag. When you are ready to purchase your item(s), hover over the Shopping Bag icon and click on the “Proceed to checkout” button. The checkout process is fast, easy and secure.
Orders are processed and dispatched within 24-48 hours of receipt. For orders received late in the day on Friday or over the weekend, dispatch will be on the following Monday.
We accept VISA, Mastercard, Paypal, Afterpay, Apple Pay, Google Wallet and Union Pay.
Natio Gift Cards: Enter the gift card number in the Gift Card box at checkout and click 'Apply'.
Ultimate Gift Cards: Enter the card information in the credit/debit card section and please ensure the current balance of the Ultimate Gift Card is enough for the entire purchase as we cannot accept the combination of an Ultimate Gift Card and a Credit Card.
Natio does not have the capabilities to perform split credit transactions, in this instance, please exchange the Ultimate card for an eGift card.
Visit www.exchangeyourcard.com.au to convert your Ultimate card to a Natio eGift.
This will allow split purchases to be made online by using the eGift as a form of payment and using another form of payment to pay the difference. In this instance, please enter the card pin in the Gift Card box at checkout and click 'Apply.'
You may not be able to use your voucher if we have a sales promotion currently running. Sales promotions may include: gift with purchases, free shipping offers, sitewide sales discounts.

For Australian and New Zealand orders, the freight charge for your order is flat rate based on the shipping destination and the preferred shipping method. This will be displayed during the checkout process prior to your order being submitted.
Standard domestic (Australia and New Zealand wide) shipping is free for product orders of AUD$59 (including GST) / NZ$99 or more. Bag Subtotal must be AUD$59 (including GST) / NZ$99 or more after coupons and discounts to qualify. Only applies to products ordered from natio.com.au/natio.co.nz that are shipped to addresses within Australia and New Zealand. The ‘free shipping’ option is automatically applied at Checkout and are shipped via Australia Post’s Parcel Post standard service.

Domestic (Australia wide)
We use Australia Post's Parcel Post standard service for all domestic orders with an estimated delivery time frame of 2-7 business days. This service provides a tracking number upon dispatch. We also offer Australia Post’s Express Post at an additional charge with a delivery time frame of 1-2+ business days for same state and 1-3+ business days for interstate.
International
International orders are shipped via Australia Post with an estimated delivery time frame of up to 18 business days worldwide. This service provides a tracking number upon dispatch.
Please be aware, these times are estimated delivery times only and orders can be subject to delays due to weather, customs clearances or other unforeseen circumstances.
Please note, hazardous goods, such as nail polish, cannot be shipped internationally.
Yes, you can ship to any address regardless of your billing address. Your billing address should be the address listed with your credit card company.
Because Natio sells its products both directly and indirectly (through distributors) to retailers we are unable to process returns for purchases made from pharmacies or department stores. Should you wish to return a Natio product, please contact your place of purchase for a refund or exchange, according to the retailer's return policy. We advise that you always keep your receipt and check retailer's conditions for returns. Please note, we are always happy to process bona fide returns. If for some reason you do not wish to keep a product ordered on Natio's website, you may return new and unused items within seven days of receipt of the order. Natio will refund the purchase cost of the product(s) minus shipping and handling changes. Items must be returned in their original condition; no refund can be made for products that have been used. Natio regularly updates and refines its skincare and colour ranges. This means that occasionally we discontinue slow selling products to accommodate new and improved products. Please consult one of our qualified Natio Promotional Consultants in your nearest pharmacy or department store to find out which products have been discontinued. They will be able to guide you to good, alternative product solutions, hopefully within the Natio range. You can also check Natio's website; if the product you seek is not listed here, it is no longer available. However, please note any discontinued stock we still have in our warehouse is sold online at a discounted price until it clears. These items are located in the Specials Category under each corresponding Range. Go to our sale where you may be lucky to find your favourite discontinued product at a bargain price.
