Changes to our product line up: Goodbye Cleansing Wipes
For more than three decades, Natio has delivered natural Australian beauty to our loyal customers. As an Australian family-owned brand we always aim to renovate our collection as innovation and evolution becomes available. We also like to respond to our customer feedback and concerns to implement positive changes to our product range.
One of the recent changes to our collection has been to remove our Gentle Cleansing wipes and Eye Makeup Remover Wipes from our signature Aromatherapy collection. We understand that there is nothing more frustrating than when a brand discontinues a much-loved product in your routine, and we wanted to explain our reasons for this decision.
It has come to light in recent times as skin formulation science has evolved that cleansing wipes are not an optimal cleansing format to support your best healthy, happy looking skin. It has been found that cleansing wipes provide a less impactful cleansing effect, which if used routinely could leave behind grime and oil which may over time lead to clogged pores.
In addition to this, wipes are considered a single use product and single use products come at a serious effect to the environment.
An effective cleanser removes grit and impurities without drying and damaging the skin’s natural moisture barrier. Ideally it should also provide a fresh base for the application of exfoliants, serums, treatments and moisturisers.
Natio has a range of different cleansing formulations to meet all skin types, each infused with a harmonious blend of nourishing plant extracts and essential oils. Our customer favourite formula is the Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser, providing a gentle and hydrating solution for dry and sensitive skin types. For management of sebum production and excess oils, a foaming cleanser provides a rich and foamy lather and deeply penetrates the pores. To break down persistent dirt without compromising the skin’s barrier, an oil-based cleanser gently removes debris without drying the skin.
When stubborn makeup becomes a challenge to remove, our Gentle Micellar Cleansing Water becomes the ideal first step. This alcohol-free and gentle solution effortlessly breaks down oil, dirt, and makeup particles, leaving your skin fresh and clean.
Cleansing is an essential first step to any skincare routine, regardless of skin type or concerns. Using a facial cleanser plays a crucial role in eliminating bacteria, grit and pollution is removed from pores prior to the application of other skincare treatments and cosmetics.
